Eligibility:
The basic qualification required for the post is must pass matriculation from recognized board or university and Three years full time diploma in Engineering in Maechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation/Metallurgy/Chemical/Ceramics/Electronics &Telecom/Survey Discipline.
Age Limit:
Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.12.2013. Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Applicants and 3 years Age Relaxation for OBC Applicants.
Application fee:
250/-(Two Hundred and fifty Rupees only) for General and OBC category and for SC/ST/PH/Local displaced Persons and departmental Applicants –50/-(Fifty Rupees only).
The Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.

How to apply:
Eligible applicant’s needs to submit online application through official website of SAIL www.sail.co.in from 26.12.2013 to 25.01.2014, no other means of /mode of application shall be accepted.
1) Valid e-mail ID, which should remain valid for at least one year.
2) Candidates should ensure that they possess requisite qualification at the time of applying.
3) Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) of Rs. 250/- (Non-refundable) for Operator-cum-Technician Trainee as
Application and processing fee for General/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PH/Local DP/BSL Departmental
Candidates to possess Pay in Slip of Rs. 50/- (Non-refundable) only as processing fee. The Pay in
Slip (SBI Challan) is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
4) Candidates should have latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signature in
digital form (.jpg or .jpeg only of less than 500 kb size) for uploading with the application form.
5) Candidates are advised to read carefully instructions for online submission of application. The
same will be available in the website itself.
6) Category (General/SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/PWD/Ex-SM) once submitted in the application
cannot be changed and no benefit of other category will be subsequently admissible.
7) While filling on-line application the candidates must carefully follow all the steps. Incomplete
Application/application without fee/application not fulfilling any eligibility criteria will be rejected

8) After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated Pay in slip &
Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details.
9) Candidates are not required to send any document to Bokaro Steel Plant at this stage. The
Candidates will be allowed to appear in the Written Test only if they possess the valid Photo Admit
Card which will be available for downloading from the SAIL website as per schedule indicated

10) The application being online, if during verification of documents prior to interview, it is found that
