Bank Exams 2013 : PSU Banks to hire 56000 employees in India

Bank exam 2013: Public sector banks to hire 56000 employees in India through various bank exams 2013. Bank exams India, SBI and IBPS are the different organizations conducting the written examinations for clerk,Probationary officer,RRB and specialist officer vacancies.

In the officer category, 25 public sector banks have 23,794 vacancies as of March, 2013. Of this, 5,815 officer level posts are in Bank of Baroda (BoB) only.Syndicate Bank has 1,500 vacancies of officer level posts. Andhra Bank is facing a shortage of 1,484 officers. The number for the same in Bank of India is 1,473. Allahabad Bank needs to hire 1,450 officers, Punjab & Sind Bank 1,454 and Punjab National Bank 1,119.

Coming to the largest public sector and financial bank in India State bank of India conducted probationary officer exam for 1500 vacancies.With regard to vacancies in the clerical cadre, sources said that as many as 22,347 posts are vacant in various banks including five associate banks of State Bank of India .SBI Recruitment 2013 for nineteen thousands clerk vacancies notification publish soon.

For FY 2012-2013, public sector banks hired around 63,000 employees as PO,Clerk and Specialist officer. India’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) alone recruited 20,000 clerical staff and 1,200 probationary  officer employees. PSU banks,other than State bank of India hired 22,000 probationary officers and 20,000 clerk staff.In the next 5 years, banks will generate 750 thousand jobs.

Public sector banks opening 10000 new branches and  proposals to add many more branches ,which results the  new bank jobs.Mainly,many employees getting retired, to full fill this shortage,HDFC and Ratnakar banks going to recruit 4000 jobs in this month.
