Selection Procedure 2016
State Bank of India Probationary officer Selection procedure : SBI PO selection process depends based on Performance in prelims and mains exam, group discussion and interview.In case of Clerk exam,there was no group discussion.According to SBI PO Recruitment 2016 notification, candidates must pass in every section in order to get a call for further round that is group discussion and interview together.
SBI PO Prelims Exam 2016
A total of 100 questions will be asked for 100 marks with the time duration of 1 hour. Candidate need to pass in each and every section to qualify for the SBI PO mains exam.
SBI PO Mains Written Exam 2016
State bank of India po exam will be for 250 marks,in each and every section candidates must reach cut off marks,again this depends on question paper difficulty.From English Language, General Awareness, Data analysis and interpretation, Reasoning sections ,State bank of India will ask questions for 200 marks,all questions are objective type.After completion of this paper,candidates need to take descriptive paper for 50 marks.

SBI PO Group Discussion and Interview
Group Discussion will conduct for 20 Marks.In case of Rural candidates,it will be for 10 marks.This year as many as candidates submitting application forms for po exam,so the competition plays major role in over all cut off marks.
Group Discussion:20
Interview:30 Marks
Experience: 10 Marks.
Candidates,who secure 40% of marks(35% of marks in case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates)in both GD & Interview,they will be in the Final list to get appointment letter.
