Karnataka Postal Circle recruitment board has delivered a notification for the recruitment of the 82 posts in Multitasking Staff (MTS- erstwhile Group D Employees )in various Postal, Railway MAIL Services (RMS) and Administrative Offices categories. Eligibility:
The basic qualification required for the post is must pass matriculation from recognized board or university or ITI.
Age Limit:
Lower age limit is 18 and upper age limit is 27 years. Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Applicants and 3 years Age Relaxation for OBC Applicants.
Application fee:
200/-(Two Hundred Rupees only) for General and OBC category and for SC/ST/PH/Female Applicants –no fee.
The Applicant’s has to pay fee an examination fee of 200/-and it should be deposited /paid in any Post office in Karnataka circle through e-payment specifying the division for which candidates is applying and which applying and submit original receipt along with application.
How to apply:
Eligible candidates can avail application form from concerned Postal offices from 01.01.2014 to 21.01.2014 or can download application official website of Karnataka Postal Circle www.karnatakapost.gov.in. All Eligible candidates are required to send application form along with required documents like certificates, Caste certificate and date of birth photocopies concerned division mentioned in detailed notification through Register post or Speed post only as to reach on or before 28.01.2014.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on aptitude test and interview.
Aptitude test details and syllabus & minimum qualifying marks in all Sections
Aptitude test Duration will be of 90 minutes. Following sections are covered under Aptitude test
Part ‘A’ -25 Marks -25 Questions on General knowledge –Multiple choice questions
Part ‘B’-25 marks -25 Questions on Math’s-Multiple choice questions
Part ‘C’-Two parts
1.General English -25 marks -25 Questions –Objective type/Multiple choice Questions
2. Regional language -25 marks -25 questions – Objective type/multiple choice Questions
A minimum of 10 marks needs to be scored by general category each section of Aptitude test.
A minimum of 9 marks needs to be scored by OBC category each section of Aptitude test.
A minimum of 8 marks needs to be scored by SC/ST category each section of Aptitude test.
