A. For the candidates having a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician / Electronics/Electronic Mechanic: trade from industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by the Government of Karnataka.

[SC-54, ST-11, GM-177, Cat-I: 14, Cat-II A: 53, Cat-II b: 14, Cat-III A: 14, Cat-III B:17. Total = 354 Posts]

B. For the candidates having a pass certificate of Three Years “Lineman/Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutions of KEB/KPTCL.

[SC-32, ST-06, GM-106, Cat-I: 09, Cat-II A: 32, Cat-II b: 09, Cat-III A: 08, Cat-III B:11. Total = 354 Posts]

Pay scale: Rs.7950-16790/-

Age limit:

The candidates should have reached the age of 18 years as on the last date of application (11.01.2012 as per notification dated 09.12.2011) and shall not be more than,

1.         I.            35 years for General Merit candidates.
2.       II.            38 years for Category IIA, IIB, IIA, IIB candidates.
3.     III.            40 years in case of SC/ST and Cat-I candidates.

Selection Process:

Recruit to the post of Assistant Lineman will be made by selection strictly on merit, based on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination only.

Application fee:

Candidates should have to pay the fee is Rs.400/- in respect of candidates belonging to General category and Cat-I,IIA,IIIA,IIIB And Rs.200/- in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

Eligible candidates can be apply from online HESCOM website http://www.hescom.co.in from 15.03.2014 to 15.04.2014. Application will not be accepted by any other mode.
After successful completion of the application in ON-LINE, the candidates should be obtain the print out of having application form and challan. Candidates should submit the applications well in advance without waiting for the last date recommended for submission.
